The Leo full moon ritual by Thames on Sunday 1st February 2026 will focus on Sekhmet warrior goddess invocation.. We’ll be calling on her for protection, and also to deliver her wrath on some one .
There are certain people and powermad forces that are just running amuck everyday. Without check and control. Anarchic circus every other day because of one deranged man’s whims.. and a political system either fearful or corrupt, that it dare not stand up to this deranged imbecile.
But where politics, reason and peace can not reach quickly.. magic can! So the Sekhmet ritual will focus on that. (takes a warrior goddess to despatch a corrupt regime ).
First part will involve ..as we have done.. cleansing and protection for us all. Then magical work to get rid of certain people in politics..
Some may argue and debate about peace and consequences and patience. Those don’t work for me personally. They are welcome to sit and procrastinate or leave it all to other people. Bit of a cop out in my books..
Pagans get hyped about being Warriors, dressing up in all sorts of festive pagentry.. waving staff, swords, and symbols about.. Many worship Thor, Odin, Aries, Hern etc. But I don’t see or hear their warrior nature actually surfacing. It’s all seems to be cosplay and fancy dress in pagan festivals .
And I’ve always done gritty magic that often costs me some pain. This is because am going it alone and don’t have protect myself properly.. while am attacking evil!
But that kind of magic done as a group …keeps members safe. And has better results..
So the Sekhmet one will be directly aimed at this intention.
Get rid of those political tyrants.
Maybe we will write their names and burn the papers and bury them in the sand. For Thames river tide to rise and wash away.

A Call to Magic
Come join me in a special ritual, when the moon is still waxing in the sign of Leo, to make a sacred circle and call upon one of the fiercest goddesses in myth and legends. Sekhmet the Lion-headed warrior Goddess.
Normally in our Sekhmet rituals at Leo new moons, we invoke and calm her rage and thirst with beer and wine.
This time, however, on a waxing leo full moon, we shall invoke her and petition her to vanquish warmongering tyrants. The how and where and when – we leave to the wisdom of the warrior Goddess!
Wars are nothing new – sadly!
But now, a dark force is rising fast in the western world – and some tyrrants have managed to unravel centuries of peace, and driven by whims and egos, they theaten to instigate a new wars!
Many people would think this will pass. Others will say its all Fated. More will say there are lessons to be learnt and we must not interfere!
Evil wins and when good people do nothing. And while politicians are paralysed and very measured in their reactions, can we Witches and magicians really afford to sit and wait?
Come stand in a ritual Circle – and Call this warrior Goddess Goddess to stop these Tyrannt.!
Duration: 7.00pm for meeting by Millennium Bridge. Ritual held by riverside. Event ends around 9.30pm.

Ritual Venue & Meeting point
- Gather on the pavement-steps under the the Millennium Bridge (south bank side, near Tate Modern Gallery) . One of our team member will be there with a Lantern to meet you all! We walk down to river bank, set up altar and start ceremony.
- Riverside These events are held in a public area by Thames shore, about 5-10meters away from water’s edge. There are concrete steps going down from pavement to rivershore. Our rituals are planned on date/ time where tide is low.
What to bring?
- Ritual items (optional): Moon crowns, flower crowns Ritual cloaks, capes, masks; lanterns, candles in jars..
- Torch light for safe walking at night.
- Warm clothing & rain-coats/ outdoor shoes or boots (and ankle covered socks! ).
- Small ground sheet to sit on for social.
- Your own Cups/chalice to drink from.
