Hi all.. I’ve taken the data from NASA (Fred Espenak) and created some graphics of my own (and enhanced the 2nd one showing world locations where it can be seen – mostly Americas, Europe, Africa, Asia)
In a few days, I’ll provide chart & similar data for the upcoming annular solar Eclipse on 26th Feb 2017 (and also the coming partial Lunar eclipse (7th aug’17) and total solar eclipse (21st aug’17 – the big one!!)
For those amongst you who are interested in esoteric work/ magic/ ceremony/ personal development ..Eclipses are said to provide great stellar opportunities for those works. You can read more about them at my Eclipse Magic website.
Following the News footage where a Rep spoke of the `Alternative Truth’ ..I’ve realised USA has gone alternative…Hoorah!! :-p (sarcasm intended). Here’s some art for you to enjoy ..and spread about..! -Mani
The Enormous Elephant Run- Fundraiser 10km run took place earlier this morning at Clapham Common. `Elephants’ & Supporters started gathering from 10am onwards (organisers were there from much earlier..setting up!). The run started at about 10.35am… and consisted of 5Km, 10Km and 15Km runs (1 lap, 2 lap or 3 lap of the path that zig-zagged in the Band-stand area of Clapham Common, South London).
This is the 3rd annual such fundraising event, organised by `The David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust’ – which embraces all measures that compliment the conservation, preservation and protection of wildlife. These include anti-poaching, safe guarding the natural environment, enhancing community awareness, addressing animal welfare issues, providing veterinary assistance to animals in need, rescuing and hand rearing elephant and rhino orphans, along with other species .
Many Congratulations to my sister Vathani Navasothy for raising over £750+ .
The team she’s part of (Team Mama Afrika) raised over £3,000 (offline donations still being counted).
The `Enormous Elephant Run- London’ has raised over £50,000 of funds.
I was thrilled to have been there for the last 3 years in a row when my sister has been doing this charity Run. Vathani has raised £612 (in 2014), £444 (in 2015) and £750 (2016).. totalling £1,806+.
Am very proud indeed and will be putting together a video/photo montage of her 3 annual runs for this worthy cause that we both are passionate about. 🙂
I will be adding photos & videos of this event in due course in a blog very soon.
Back in November 2011, after a particularly negative experience of giving a Pagan / Wiccan interview for an on online Radio, I got home very mixed up and angry – for having been taken advantage again by a Journalist. (I’ve appeared / given interviews for various lot like BBC, Channel 4, Guardian etc..).
That was when i decided the only way to share/ put out my message ..without it being edited out by others – is to do my own work. So as it was a month before the much anticipated year 2012 was coming, I started my youtube channel `Gaian2012′.
It is an Esoteric Channel – with videos I personally make ..about Paganism, Wicca/Witchcraft, Magical Training videos, spirituality, astrology, New age / holistic events, Pagan/ Hindu festivals, Ecology & Environment, protests/ marches, picnics and so on.
I’ve been making videos / editing/ producing/ doing my own features, covering events, interviews etc since then.. Along the way I have been learning so much about digital video / film making, sharpening my editing skills and so on.
Four and a half years on, today, my channel has reached 100,000 views (well, 100, 006 to be exact!). The esoteric / holistic work continues.. but I think I can take a few minutes to mark this happy occasion 🙂
It saddens me to announce that a great Elder of the Craft & Pagan communities in London, and a Wiccan High Priestess – Jean Ellen Williams- has passed away few days ago – on Christmas day 25th December 2015.
As Fates would have it, I was writing about another dear HPS Maureen Brown who passed away on 25th December, 11 years ago, when news of this came. I have had to wait till news was given to Jean’s family & close friends, before it could be made public here.
Christina Oakley Harrington (of Treadwell’s Books in London) and a very close friend of Jean Williams, posted the following few days ago:
“We sadly announce that Jean Williams, a much loved member of the Pagan community, died yesterday afternoon. She died peacefully, from heart failure, with her husband Zach at her side. Jean had been involved in paganism since the early sixties – she founded and ran Pagan Pathfinders for thirty five years, co-founded the Companions of the Rainbow Bridge, was a core member of the Pagan Federation since 1988 — and made many friends through her European summer holidays. Gracious, sociable and non-dogmatic, she relished the variety of paths and personalities in paganism. Also in some ways a very private person, in her personal spiritual life she was a Wiccan high priestess of the Gardnerian tradition, with a quiet and close-knit coven who are very much her intimate family. She leaves her husband (Zachary Cox), her brother, and many treasured friends and colleagues. We will be announcing arrangements in about a week’s time. .. Blessings, Ruth, Peter, Sylvia and Christina”
And I posted the following on my facebook wall and community pages:
“The news has been now openly announced elsewhere so I can write a little about it – Jean Ellen Williams – Wiccan Elder and High Priestess – has died yesterday (yeah on Xmas day) due to heart failure.
About 2 weeks ago I went to see her in hospital, and had some chats.. We were told she was getting better and even moved back home. I spoke briefly on the phone with her on Yule (22nd December)..and was planning to go see her (as soon as my dreaded cold was gone..I did not want to infect an unwell lady).. but sadly it is not to be.
She’s been a great magical friend & mentor for me – and held my hands and supported me so much when in 2004, I took the responsibility of being Events Organiser for Pagan Federation London, and continued to do so till I stepped down in 2012. Jean is also the lady who introduced me to Earth Day.. In hospital I was telling her that she’ll be my honoured Guest for the Gaian Times (eco-magical) conference am planning for 2016… (it will now be in her honoured memory..for she cared so much about the Earth!).
In hospital, she spoke of magical things… quantum things.. and her new book being almost complete..and gave me some things to read about. There is much more to say.. but now is not the time..
I am deeply grateful to one dear friend who was kind enough to keep me informed. I have hundreds of old photos…which I will share privately with relevant people.. For now, Jean, may you rest in eternal peace..and awaken unto the divine realms! ps. please find Maureen and Madge and Harry ..and have some tea & cakes! ..”
Many of you know I’m a big fan of Doctor Who – the BBC TV series charting the sci-fi adventures of The Doctor.. a Time Traveller. Well, for the last 2 years (exactly, to date from 24th Dec 2013 to today 24th Dec 2015) I’ve been Executively producing our own fan series..
Our series has been very Esoteric – with many occult & magical / pagan themes running through it.. (and more on the way!)
Well, series#1 of our DoctoWho Imaginarium is now complete, with 11 episodes and few minisodes and can be viewed on my DrWho Youtube channel (link below). It stars a female Doctor (Sandra Tena) and a male Doctor (Stephen Cole). Interestingly, both of them met each other last year during one of our filming sessions in Glastonbury..and would you believe it..they are now actually (for real, legal and all) married!! So it’s now Sandra Cole & Stephen Cole. 🙂 We’ve also had Dougal Duthie as our boy-Doctor for Children in Need 2015 special.. (and..you’ll soon see me in some mysterious Doctor-ish role).
Our previous logo of the 3 Wheels with a pendulum swinging… and the letter `i-2 (i-squared) standing for `Imaginarium’ was used till now.. (and may I add.. we were using it long before the wheeled title sequence of Peter Capaldi’s first series aired in August’14).
Now, we’re rebranding the name slightly..as `Doctor Who London – by Imaginarium Fan Productions’ and last night I unveiled our new logo. And here it is..:-)

Gather with us in London, for this year’s Pagan Pride Parade. (organised by `Pagan Federation London’)

Drummers, Banners Holders, Parade Giants, Fairies, Floats and Pagans of all stripes, join us for a day of fun and festivities.
We’ll be gathering in Russell Square and then marching our parade through the streets, before returning back to Russell Square for a communal picnic and frivolity.

Bring your own food and drink for the picnic or get your food on the day from the Russell Square cafe.
Russell Square is in the heart of Bloomsbury, close to the British Museum. It has a central plaza and water feature, which has become a popular place for Pagans to dance and make merry, year after year.
There is a cafe which is open all year round and expansive lawns and vibrant floral displays.

These exam pieces (art works) were apparently not allowed to be exhibited in a school. Am not usually one to share stuff from facebook onto my blogs..but as an Artist, Magician, Radical, Magician…I feel this deserves attention. -Mani
Martha Armitage says on her FB account:
“I CANNOT believe my paintings are not allowed to be displayed around my school as ‘it’s Ramandan and they involve breasts’. I’m disappointed in Tapton school. I believe the close bond breast feeding gives a mother and child should be celebrated and exposed to my school, not hidden away!! #freethenipple
Dear all, it gives me great thrills to announce the launching of a new meetup group – one that I have been thinking about and planning for almost half a year. Well, now seems the right time! I’ve named it `Hindu Magicians’ as it’s a blend of many things – the devotional activities that Hare Krishnas often do (chants, jubilant, devotional singing), my roots in Hinduism, Vishnu worship, and recent 20 years of Western Magical/ Pagan ritual magical practices. I’ve scheduled 4 great special events/ socials to start us off.. and will add / develop more… Some events will be meditative, walks in parks, simple ceremonies of worship & celebrations, while others will be extensive (I have some friends who are experienced in Sanskrit, Yoga and a variety of Eastern / Hindu matters). The first one is on 31st July – a Social on the date of the Blue Moon (because this is the first group of it’s kind, as well as the most obvious one of colour Blue being associated with Lord Krishna of course) 🙂 Below are graphics for each of the events (so far).
Blue Moon social & visit to Krishna Temple
Luxmi Pooja (Navarathree)
The current blurb for this meetup says..
“This is a very new meetup group for all interested in Hare Krishna & Hindu Magic as the focus. It’s envisioned as a relaxed group gathering for enjoyable socials & spiritual work – such as picnics, meet & greet, drumming & chanting in parks – simply for the joy of it. The Hindu- Magic part of this is about exploring some of the myths, adapting special Hindu festivals & Rituals such as Navarathree, Shivarathree, Luxmi pooja and such – and perform lighter adapted version of them in natural places (woods, parks) practices, creating yantras / charms for personal empowering purposes. You can effectively think of them as mini-poojas in parks & woods.
(Important note: It is NOT the intention to have an intense group that is steeped deep in sanskrit ceremonies – we leave that to trained and highly experienced Priests & Brahmins in Temples and Ashrams all over the world.. Instead, we are down to earth explorers adapting ceremonies, mantras, interpretations).
Hindu spirituality has been around for thousands of years, and in the modern world, it has spread and permeated into many civilisations, countries and cultures and other mystery traditions. It’s now common for a wiccan/ witch to do a `chakra opening’ before doing a full moon ritual, millions doing Yoga workouts in fitness centres, thousands exploring Tantric rituals & sexual unities. Also common are many a Western psychic to wear a turban, trendy youngsters with some earth spiritual affinities sporting `Om T-shirt’, and millions of psychics & mystics to light an incense stick bells that were made in India or Nepal.
It is pleasing that Hinduism has spread so far and wide – even if many don’t realise it. But it’s also sad there is quite a bit of the underlying depth getting `lost in translation & interpretations’.
I’ve been a Hindu all my life, and have lived in London for some 35 years. I am experienced (20 years) in Western Pagan / Magical religions and practises. I’ve been re-exploring Hindu ceremonies and realising the magic within much of it..and am on a personal journey of blending the two together in my own life. Last time I checked, there seems to be nothing like this in Meetup (not for 100 miles around me in London). So I’ve started this.
Let us meet & greet – as equals with extraordinary souls, in the parks, in the woods, in the forests, gardens, by rivers and streams.. at dawn, at dusk, at noon and nights, in rain and shine, to be..just be.. and if we must do something.. to praise, sing, drum, dance, chant and be merry – in the names of the divine Gods & Goddesses, the Great Spirit within us all..
Let’s meet, and see where it takes us..
*Om Shakthi * Hare Krishna * Bright Blessings
So if you like the sound of all this, and like to join in.. either as beginners or as experienced person looking to do more of these with like-spiritual-souls.. You do not have to be heavily involved in Hare Krishna or steeped in Hindu cultures or religion to be part of this. This is not a study group or missionary one that aims to preach or convert. If you are a fan of the great Hindu epics – Mahabharatham & Ramayanam – if you are new to it or have been interested for years / decades…all that is fine.
