Fundraising: Headstone for Eleanor Ray Bone – Matriarch of European Wicca

Dear all, this matter has come to my attention.

We’ve all heard of Doreen Valiente – mother of Modern Witchcraft. Well, this one is about Eleanor Ray Bone – Matriarch of European Wicca, because most Gardnerian initiates in Europe trace their roots to Ray Bone’s coven.

“With Witchcraft, your happiness is completely in your hands…” says Eleanor in one of the Documentaries.

This is the lady who hurried off to rescue the grave of Gerald Gardner and raised funds to have his grave moved to a safer place and a proper headstone (in Tunis).

And now the community would like to do the same for Eleanor.

I do have a particular interest in this matter, as I of the same Wiccan Lineage of this lady!

The fundraising is managed by highly respected Wiccan Elders and Scholars such as Dr Vivianne Crowley, Chris Crowley, Professor Ronald Hutton, Dr Melisa Harrington, Rufus Harrington, Philip Heselton, and of course Sophia Boann who initiated this fundraising venture. (I know 5 of these personally).
