I facilitate Wicca-based Full moon ceremonies every month, in central London, near Millennium Bridge area – very close down to the river Thames shoreline. These are part of the `London Woodland Witches’ events. We are careful to check Port of London Authority’s website for when Thames tides are low.. when planning these Full moon rituals by the Thames.
As a seasoned Wiccan (Gardnerian) High Priest, my community work is about making basic Wicca & Pagan practices available to new Seekers – some dropping in out of curiosity and then attending regularly, whilst others travelling through UK or London just attend once. But I believe each encounter changes us .. so my aim is to give my magical best to everyone, each time, acting on the proviso that I get that one opportunity to give them something of magical importance.
These Full moon rituals have been going on for a long time now.. (my Thames-side rituals began in 2006. and woodland rituals began in 2004 ).
Below are the main details for the next set of 4 Full moon rituals (September, October, November, December) for our Autumn 2024 period.

— Full Moon Ritual details —
We gather by Millennium Bridge (south bank), collect all attendees, then walk down the steps to riverbank. There under the overhang created by the pavement, on sandy grounds, we set up goddess altar, set up lanterns, lights, incese and flowers.. These Open rituals are suitable for all Pagans, Magicians, Goddess-worshippers and especially those of you interested in Wiccan practices.

Thursday 17th October 2024 / Aries FM
Friday 15th November 2024 / Taurus FM
Friday 13th December 2024 / Gemini FM (2 days before FM)
Outline:
We open with a short Tree-energy pathworking (you can stand or be seated) for energy opening. This is followed by Wiccan style consecration with blessed salt/water and incense for purification. Then a magic circle is cast with a wand, and elements Air, fire, water, earth are called in east, south, west, north. We raise group energy with easy chants while circling the altar. Then call on Moon Goddess & Honed God God energies. Once this is done, we have a moment for some magical working -This varies each time. We finish the ceremony with communal blessing of all the food & drinks people brought, then close circle and feast.
No prior knowledge is required, as we facilitate this ceremony, with explanations and guidance. However please attend with an open mind. We are very friendly and down to earth folks, who can be mirthful and yet show serious reverence when required.

Bring your own cups / chalice/ drinking vessels as we try to minimise plastic cup use for eco-reasons**
Suggested donation: £3 or £5.
Meetup now charges £42 per month to organisers so we ask for small donation to cover this cost. (used to be £22 per month but has shot up since july 2024).
Meeting point – please read this carefully.:
Gather on the pavement-steps under the the Millennium Bridge (south bank side, near Tate Modern Gallery) . One of our team member will be there with a Lantern to meet you all! We walk down to river bank, set up altar and start ceremony.
Thames & Tides:
Our rituals tale place on the actual river bank… just few meters away from the water. Don’t worry. We organise these Thames-rituals **at low tide** after checking Port of London authority Thames Tide time tables..
On this day, as per POL authority, the low tide is around 21:02hrs BST, so while we commence the ritual around 7.30pm, the tide will still be going out..!
Safety:
The altar and ritual space are under cover (underneath a section of the pavement) and on sandy ground. Shoes/ boots will *not* get wet (unless you go to river edge).
BUT.. The steps leading down to river-side are slippery. River bank is full of gravel & sharp objects. So *if* you choose to explore or walk around, take extreme care with your own health & safety. You are responsible for your safety. ** location is not suitable for anyone with walking disabilities**
What to bring:
— You can dress in any ordinary outdoor clothing/ coats/shoes.
Please dress appropriate for weather!
–BUT if you are inspired, you may dress in capes & robes too.
–Please bring food & drinks to share ( bread & cheese / humus/ soft drinks).
–A torchlight & Ground sheet (optional).
After the ritual is completed, some people stay a little longer to ask questions informally or to socialise, and to make new friends.

We have a strict NO DRUGS policy. Anyone found to be drunk or under substance influence will be refused participation. If complications arise, organisers will simply halt the ritual for the safety of all attending.
Also NO filming/ recording / interviews / research / surveys or such matters are allowed! No children allowed. Our events are for members’ personal, magical, spiritual purposes only!
