Indigo Moon in April 2023
Everyone is excited about the Dark moon/ new moon this evening.. in Aries, which takes place just less than 24 hrs after Sun arrived in Aries (Spring Equinox for us northern hemisphere folks on Earth). But this is not only that, but the first of TWO new moons occuring in Aries. There will be *another* new moon in Aries – in April 2023.
(Not only is the New moon in Aries in April an Indigo moon, but it’s also A solar Eclipse! I’ll write about that in a separate blog).
To my knowldge, I am the one to coin and use the term astrological Indigo Moon to describe this known phenomenon of 2 new moons in same sign.. back in 2012. Until about half a decade ago, astrology was not such a hyped thing on social media.. and back in those days, astrologers just got on with all sorts of stellar events. The only thing that excited the general public was Blue moon – 2nd full moon in same calendar month.. (but what is a true (astrological blue moon is what excited me, and that led to me marking all new moons and finding 2 new moons in same month and then 2 new moons in same signs over consecutive months.. back when i started blogging in 2012).

It pleases me that `Indigo moon’ is a term banded about on social media and in astrologer circles.. Am not normally into glory and taking credits. But so many things I have brought up get taken on by people and 99% of it goes uncredited.. or worse, people blatantly copy and use or receive praise for `their’ works / thoughts that I had brought up.
So while my planet Jupiter is in Aries, and this is the first of 2 new moons in Aries, I make a decision to bang my own drum a little… Humility is fine.. but when credit is stolen.. that’s not a good thing.. And thing about Aries.. is that he is a God of War!
I am done letting people steal my words, deed and energies.
